CLIENT: EMI / BLUE NOTE RECORDS | ROLE: CONCEPT, DIRECTION, STOP MOTION ANIMATION
The video for Amos Lee's Flower began with the concept of a world made entirely out of white paper. With the help of an incredible team of papercraft fabricators, we built all of the sets and puppets in two weeks, and had two more weeks to shoot almost four minutes of stop motion.
After premiering to a huge response on VEVO, the video was featured on NOTCOT, and chosen by Stereogum as one of their six best videos of the week. It was also rotation on VH1 as part of their show Jump Start and chosen as a 2012 Webby Honoree for the animation category.
